Do people send more than one request per drama? I always send one, but sometimes I wonder if there are even enough people requesting to make much of a difference?
I will send additional requests if it has been several weeks (or months) and Viki has still not gotten the liscense for a particular drama. There are some dramas I have been requesting for several years now. But I think you are correct that Viki must receive a certain number of requests before they will consider pursuing the liscensing for a particular drama. I’m not sure of the exact number, but I think someone else posted it must be at least 100 or 200. Perhaps others in the forum will have better data and more certain answer.
That said, I do sometimes wonder how Viki decides to get liscense for certain titles, because I don’t think they were known by many people, so I don’t think it was from viewer requests.

Hi! This is my first Viki post so greetings to all of you from a Swedish - Lebanese couple who has fallen in love with Chinese period dramas.
The one we wish we could watch on Viki is an old one from 2009 that we were unable to find on any of the Chinese streaming sites we know about. It exist on YT but only without subtitles or with English dubbing and we really can’t enjoy a drama that is not in the original language.
