BIO: Ariel Lin is the stage name of Lin Yi San, a Taiwanese actress and singer. Born on October 29, 1982, she studied Korean and literature at National Chengchi University in Taiwan and obtained her master’s degree in Arts in Acting for Screen at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama at the University of London. Ariel Lin was first discovered after she won the “Pretty Subway Girl” contest in Taiwan, allowing her to break into acting in television dramas. She rose to fame after her role as Yuan Xiang Qin in the popular 2005 drama “It Started With a Kiss” and the sequel “They Kiss Again” in 2008 brought her the Best Leading Actress in a Television Series at the 43rd Golden Bell Awards. Ariel Lin also has released many songs and albums since 2004, including several theme songs for television dramas.
FUN FACT: Ariel is really close to her mother and brother. She even participated in a beauty pageant just to buy her brother a new computer.
