I’ve seen this one before. It was funny!
I also got the feeling that Jong Hyun was the one with least self-confidence for some reason. He mentioned a few times his Busan accent was still the thickest in the band, and that’s why it takes him a long time to say something. The thing is, these sort of issues also reflect on music, whether they want it or not.
I remember also a clip where Jung Shin was messing with his bass and Min Hyuk noticed it was really cool and unusual. But, since neither of them are writing music for the band, I doubt that these particular Jung Shin’s skills were incorporated into their songs.
Bottom line, it’s time the Seul dialect becomes boring and other accents in Korea become cool!

its sad in every group/band when not all talent gets recognized and some people stay in the back. like i agree in them making yonghwa and jonghyun the leads in things, because in my personal opinion theyre the most strongest for the songs, but all groups or bands have team members they cant do without, and i think they should cut them some slack and allow them to take part in some of the songs and have some more screen time too.
Well, mostly it’s a matter of how confident you are to push your vision of music forward. For example, I know both Yong Hwa and Jong Hyun were composing their two songs from the new album approximately at the same time. I don’t remember exactly which of the Yong Hwa songs that was about. Personally they both lean towards classic (and to lesser extent alternative) rock, but so far they’ve always chosen as a band to go more pop, most likely to get wider fan base. So, while composing the new songs, according to both of them, they went far from the usual band material. The exact phrase was “too far”. And they had to reel it back in, first Yong Hwa and then Jong Hyun following his example.
I wonder if, in this whole hierarchy of the band where Yong Hwa is the leader and his words are slightly more respected, whether a chance for true creativity is not being smothered. Because, even though songs 2-5 from the new album are great, they give us the same feel as everything we heard from the boys before.

But when we actually met him, we were really surprised. He’s really tall and he’s so good-looking, but he had such good manners
Whee In: Yea, in the beginning, it didn’t really match in my head, to be honest. But after meeting him in real life, and seeing him at the music video shoot, I felt that he fit that atmosphere (of Mr. Ambiguous) really well. And he even played guitar on set and he was so good!
Solar: Yea, he just started playing! Right on the spot!
Whee In: Yea, right on the spot - so I was really impressed.
Wha Sa: His first impression is kind of cold right? But then he’s not like that at all! He was saying how he wanted to take off his makeup right away, and asking when he could take it off (laugh)
And he was just messing around and he just laughed a lot
Initially, we were a little burdened and nervous - since it was our music video shoot, and because of the concept, we were the ones who had to lead but since we’re rookies, we were a little nervous, but they all followed us so well that we were so grateful.

well, it is good to take risks, so that you can not only extend the fanbase, but try new things. and if they dont like how it feels, they could always go back to their original style. i actually think yong does a pretty great job at the group with composing and all, and i think the position fits him ^ ^ of course tho, everyone should participate in this excellency called cnblue, so putting in their ideas should be thought of too, but well, i like him being front and center to it all thats just my opinion tho, others might feel different about it, but the feel to all their music now is the reason i keep going back to them,even if they do sound similar, i like it. xD i think he’s genius and thats why he fits the spot, and i loved “cant stop”'s feel and that it was different than their other songs.
