I was so entertained and thought you all would be too.

Oh this is such a sweet and entertaining column.
It reminds me my time in Geneva working four years at a French bank branch, also attending some classes and reading Petit Prince book. The life in Geneva was oh la la… and a co-worker kept insisting that I get myself “un copain” which is the best way to succeed in French. I have fond memories especially the restaurants and their “bonne cuisine”.
I also lived in London for 7 months where I had a native bf but who spoke more Cogney than Queens English.
The Angloschool had all kind of foreign students, some were beginners and it was a hands and feet communication, lol. - I miss such study times and would love to study in Korea for a month or two!!
Btw I know several couples who fit this article or have two different language or cultural background.
Merci for sharing this article, written so humorously
I’m French and it was quite interesting to read someone writing about my language.
Good article, untertaining and witty.
