Getting To Know Each Other

There’s a slight flaw in your plan, the k-drama mode you mentioned is usually meet at coffee shop/bar order drink, argue, drink is served, then storm off in a huff leaving drink untouched, could you in a million years think to argue with a favourite actor or actress when you already walked in like this?:heart_eyes: (it would never work for me as I’d walk in with extra :heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:)
And just think of the poor ‘cook’ suffering from heat exhaustion from all that deep frying they just did!

The deep fried Snickers bar is a variation of the Scottish fried Mars bar where this crazy invention originated, and to stop the chocolate bar from turning to drinking chocolate it needs to be frozen before being battered and fried. Maybe they chill the avo to stop it from turning into mush?
I was totally baffled when I first heard of deep fried ice cream, what physics breaking sorcery is this!? Not having seen one with the batter for protection, I imagined, Ice cream scoop, scoop, plop, fry!

I first heard about deep-fried Mars bars from an English neighbour back in my time in Finland, but so far I have never come across them in real life.

Maybe that’s exactly why they do it: it’s a challenge, hahaha! :joy::joy::joy:

They didn’t immediately tell me about the batter either, so similar thoughts here.

Isn’t this my usual line? I am guilty!
I had one. In Germany, we would say, I ate it twice, the first and the last time. I don’t know if there is a quote like this in English.
Vanilla ice with a crispy cover. I can’t even take a peak on the menu the restaurant is long gone, Mexican. It was my b-day and I wanted to try what I normally wouldn’t eat, haha. I guess it tasted a bit like cornflakes sugary really sweet, fortunately it was not so thick, but it was sweet enough to not let you taste any sweetness of the ice cream.

I’ve had this twice, two different versions in different countries, and I’ve attempted to make it once. The trick is to make round scoops of ice cream and freeze it till it’s really hard, roll it quickly in the batter and coating and then fry it. You might end up with a sad puddle if you mess up a step

This is an interesting thought

About DNA… I think it’s kinda useless to do a DNA test to see how much % of which ‘continent’ one owns because scientists have ~ 2 theories, one theory is that the origin human was travelling from Africa to any other continent, the other theory says that there are like 3 continent related origin human beings that mixed with the one from Africa so in this theory it’s like that: African + European, African + Asian, African + Middle East.

New researchs also showed that the genetic difference between Europeans is around 4 million genes but the difference between an Asian and a European is just 5 million genes so the difference is only 1 million more plus visible appearances like the eye colour or such things are part of the evolution for better chances of surviving in a certain area, e.g. with less/more sunlight etc.

The scientists also discovered that only humans with the Neanderthal genes do have red hair and because it’s recessive there are fewer and fewer with these genes related to hair colour because you need the gene for both parents so the child could keep it too otherwise the other genes are more dominant and the hair won’t become red.

Something I find way more interesting than own genetic analysis for heritage are documents about past generations. Some people have documents and even photographies about their family for more than hundred years, that is really cool and fascinating but other families don’t have that and when you’re interested in that it’s really sad when there aren’t any documents and photos at all.

Look what I saw recently

So now Berlin has both Panda babys the little red and the big from China  (but in another article was written that because of the virus they usually let the Panda babys inside to avoid crowds).

Okay, okay I give. How could I refuse being hand-fed anything with chopsticks from my favorite K-actor?!?! Thus, I will suffer through.

@mirjam_465 I think a firm crispy fried avocado might look like this:

@ninjas_with_onions you have a point, and the fry-cook will suffer great sadness, but wait, there’s more! After we’ve left, the poor, destitute, starving yet beautiful waitress will snag the uneaten fried food we’ve left behind, and sneak it into the dark corner of the kitchen, where she will scarf it down, happily exclaiming how delicious it is! Of course the gorgeous, wealthy fry-cook will happen upon the waitress and fall in love with her instantly as she loves his food so beautifully.:rofl::rofl:
