My channel request (Unemployed Romance ) has been APPROVED BY VIKI, BUT I’VE NEVER MANAGED A K-DRAMA BEFORE SO I’M A BIT CONFUSED, DO I UPLOAD THE EPISODES MYSELF , OR THEY WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY UPLOADED BY VIKI ?
The drama is not aired yet it’s an upcoming drama ,so i still have a week to organize the page , please help me understand better!

Firstly congrats on your first channel approval! 
If your channel has been approved by viki and it’s not a fan channel, then it means viki has got the license for the show and they will upload the episodes as it airs. So if that is the case, just use the week to do your recruitment and decorate the page Good luck!

the only problem it’s that i don’t know if it’s licensed .
Well I can’t seem to get to the channel page but if it’s a fan channel there will be an orange label on the cover picture that says fan channel.

then it is a fan channel, even if it will take a while i’ll have to look up a source , still thank you!
Every user submitted channel starts off as a fan channel. That’s not to say it won’t get licensed by Viki - never really know though. I’m almost positive that you’ll get a notification as channel manager if the show gets licensed by Viki. (I’ve never known if you have to request for them to try to get a license or what though.)
Problem with licensing is if Viki tries to get it but they can’t, you probably won’t be able to do anything with the show.
If you try to operate as a fan channel, you might be lucky and find videos on Youtube. If you’re not lucky, the company that owns the show will have it blocked on YT, which leaves you with few options.

@ngone8 Viki adds the episodes if the drama is licensed. You’ll probably have to contact them to ask about whether they will/won’t can/can’t get a license - I don’t know about that stuff.
Anyway, heads up, I don’t see the channel in your roles list anymore, not sure what that means.

one says that it’s been approved, and the other one says that it’s been denied and there is an existing channel , but how come i can’t see it?
