Aw, Lee Minho introduced me to Lee Seung Gi - Beautiful Singer and actor.
Did this really happen! Who does that???
I worry so much about how lonely these actors and actresses are because they just can’t seem to have a private life!!! Shame on a fan club if they did this
Congratulations to Lee Seung Gi!!!
This is how scary it can get, when fans get out of control (((;ꏿ_ꏿ;)) (゚ο゚人)) so scary, this was months, and months ago for a group of celebrities. I do hope you can view the video link below, scroll to the pictured video after clicking the link. So scary!

I can’t find it - but there is a video out there somewhere of Gong Yoo being rushed on the set of GOBLIN by fans. He barely had enough security and he did have his umbrella with him. Watching it made me SAD and scared for him.

I just came to this thread. What should I say?
You may call me deliberately ignorant - I could not care less - but even as someone who doesn’t read “gossip” (not that this report is gossip, but I mean the part where others are talking about peoples private lives).
I really think the level those fans are at now is on the verge or for some over stepping into “unlawful” actions.
I just can’t get over the point how they act as if an actor/actress/singer/idol could be a possession and not a human being. I bet every single one of them would get more than annoyed, if someone were to interfere their lives like that.
I just wished celebrities could live their lives more freely, being treated this way should not happen at all. I wished every single netizen who is up there writing about what or what not those celebrities should do in their lives, should get the good old community service k-drama style “scraping bubble gums off the walkways”.
Here Here!!! YES!
With what’s going on with LSG and even Han Ye Seul and her boyfriend (who was accused of being an escort smh), being a celebrity is a dangerous game. It’s hard because we are nosy by nature. Even I can admit I’m somewhat interested in their relationships, but people take it way too far when it’s invasive. It is crazy to think that it is someone’s full-time job to invade your life.
I think the mindset is if you make money off popularity from the public, then you belong to the public, and they can treat you as they wish. It’s like that everywhere and we love to form opinions and make judgments. We as a society struggle (understatement) with humanizing people in general.
@lutra my kdrama/kpop friends normally talk about them in general but when you’re in KR, it’s a totally different scenario. When you’re in the Entertainment industry, gossips are still publicity. Have you seen The King, a movie of Jo In Sung & Jung Woo Sung. I can still remember that they have this “vault” like in Swiss Bank. I am so amazed how their entertainment, political or govt works in terms of disseminating news that they can use to blackmail someone.
No, even I like the actors, I shyd away from it because it looked like there would be a lot of brutality and violence in it. Let me know if it isn’t that way.
I can guess how celebrities in general can become “national goods” in the eye of netizens. But somehow they must be aware that their “behavior” is giving people so much stress, that some simply can’t take it anymore. I think in the past 12 years since I started watching K-dramas, and at least a dozen celebrities have committed suicide in that time span. I know that some people who wrote in comments online for another person to “just die”, had to pay a 2.000 USD fine, I don’t know if this amount is still it. All in all, what is more valuable? It seems somewhere in the process of growing young talents something is amiss. Even in our society, it is sometimes hard to accept everything people say or write and defend it with the freedom of speech. Some things are just not acceptable. And claiming that others did things wrong in the first place, doesn’t mean one can add another wrong thing to make something right, this “math” never worked.
But I am getting too immersed in this topic. I rather stop for now, or who knows where I will end?
