You just need to find the year of your birth on this chart.

To determine the correct zodiac year you have to also know when the lunar new year began on the Gregorian calendar because January 1 on the Julian calendar is not necessarily the beginning of the lunar year. Just as on the Gregorian calendar we have a leap year with an extra day in February every four years, there is a leap month for the lunar calendar! The lunar new year is usually somewhere between January 21 and February 20 on a Gregorian calendar. So if you are born between January 1 and January 21 on the Gregorian calendar, it is highly likely your lunar calendar birth year is the year before the counterpart Gregorian calendar. Eg. January 1, 2024, is probably year of the Rabbit rather than year of the Dragon. Lunar New year is the second full moon after the Winter Solstice (December 21 on the Gregorian calendar.))
