One and a half months being "Coming soon"?

Is it natural for a drama being marked as “coming soon” for more than one and a half months??

I think I first saw the drama at the end of October, but now it’s December 14th, still no any updates.

Maybe “coming soon” is not literal. Maybe it means “we got the license, so look forward to seeing it here at some point”.
(I don’t really know, just guessing.)
