Wow
I also have a baby, a belgian tervueren, who was diagnosed with EPI and an auto-immune disease. He is 5 now, and looks okay, but I don’t even leave him at home alone, I always fear the worst.
I am sorry for your loss.

How is your dog ?
he’s getting better at walking ?
Alto uses 14% of his leg so it’s slowly getting better but I wished it would get better faster. He can exercise a bit more 20+15 minutes a day is what he’s allowed at the moment. Thank you so much for asking! ![]()
I was hoping that Alto was doing better. There is small progress and, fortunately, no standstill ![]()

Can’t or aren’t we allowed to upload pictures anymore?
I couldn’t yesterday, I don’t know why I got a message that it wasn’t allowed or something like that.
Wow, what an incredible topic!
We really have so many pet profile pictures. I look at most of them, I find them incredibly cute, LOL:smile:
Well, I’m passionate about birds, but unfortunately, I lost mine in 2022…
I considered her my “escape” amidst all the chaos in my life that year… it was crazy! ![]()
I miss her a lot… Many people, when they lose a pet, immediately think about buying another to “replace” it, but I never found that fair. My grandfather lost a bird that my father gave him before he passed away… but after about 2 months, he bought another one just like it and gave it the same name. I was really saddened by that action; I truly don’t think it’s right. It’s not right to replace one life with another. But with her, I couldn’t just “simply” buy another one, give it the same name, and “carry on with my life”; she was there with me in my best and worst moments! ![]()
I love you forever, Floquinho:pleading_face:![]()

Such a cute little bird!
You can’t replace an animal but you can love a new pet for who they are, they have their own personalities as they should. I tend to go for animals that no-one else wants, sometimes the animal that needs a new home has issues Luna (previous Negrita) was a dog abandoned in Spain. Luna doesn’t trust humans and I have had to work to gain her trust but sometimes it’s the sweetest souls that needs a little love and a place to call home. I hope that you are ready to open your hart to a bird or any other animal in the future.
i am cat owner
This is a second documentary from Korea, the first one was by a photographer who then ended up adopting a street cat. This one is just new on Viki.
I haven’t told you… Alto died at the beginning of this week as some of you know he had a surgery in the beginning of this year and we have been to physiotherapy and veterinarians so many times this year but in the end he and his body gave up.
Luna and the two CCD are well, but she’s still very confused about everything around her. Alto was her bestie.

It’s sad to hear of your loss…hugs to you from me…

I send you and Luna strength from the bottom of my heart ![]()
Oh no, that’s a sad news. I feel with you, every loss is very sad. I wish you’ll find comfort in good memories. Alto is now in a better place. A friend of mine has 4 guinea pigs and one died last week and the remaining 3 are a bit disoriented now. Even animals feel sadness and the missing. - I still miss my cat who passed away in 2012 ![]()
Wishing you well and a big hug
, Simi
Vilde, Loppan and Luna are dogs you all have seen before but meet Chloé… Before anyone thinks “why did she name her dog after her friend here on Viki?” I didn’t… I didn’t even know a dog could have that name. and when I was sent photos of a dog needing a home in the countryside I honestly thought it was a bit funny. I considered changing it but I think it’s a nice name and she knows it already so why not let her keep her name.
I think it’s a sweet name and your dog is cute, have good times with her! I recently spent some time with my daughter and her black Lab, her name is Winnie, but sometimes she has a nickname as “LickingLinda”, cos she likes to lick people, lol.
Ilves is a little over one years old now and he is seldom still, so I try to take a photo when he’s somewhat still. This year is a “mous year” (or rather a rodent year) as we say where I live so I really appreciate all the work he does.
I think this is a great idea! So when I’m sad, I will just open this page and see all your pictures and I will be happy again. ![]()
I’m a pet lover too. I’ve a cat, Sissi. She is 12 yeas old but she behaves like she is 1, especially when it’s cold. She’s awaking at 5 a.m. and she starts to run for all the house and of course, “miaoooo” all the time because she wants me to stay with her. ![]()
I’ve also a dog, Lisi. She’s so sweet, she loves every person and dog on earth. She’s a Labrador, of course. So, even she is 5 years old, she is still the little dog I toke home when she was 3 months.
They have changed my life, I’m so glad to have them, especially some days. ![]()
Both of your pets are cute but I’m not going to lie I have always wanted a white cat and your cat looks soooo cute. ![]()
I agree with you and confirm that for me too, life simply wouldn’t be worth living without animals. Just the thought that I would have grown up without animals would have been quite desolate and lonely. However, I also feel incredible pain and sadness when they have to go…
@real_dreamer
very pretty cat and dog ![]()

This is Casper he is 7 years old and he hates rain and snow. My family and I traveled to Denmark to get him and now he lives in Norway (With a bunch of rain and snow). Fun fact about him is that one of his siblings is actually the dog of the former queen Margrethe. So we say that he is a little bit royal ![]()
