Viki is now using the Uk age rating system for UK users. And they seem to be setting the ratings more or less correctly. From what I can see so far. Although what constitutes each rating is quite clearly defined in the UK, so it’s probably relatively easy to determine the appropriate age rating the content. For some other countries. It is perhaps not so easy.

For example, I was watching taxi driver recently and because of some of the torture like scenes in the first episode I can understand why it was put at 18 and that is where it should stay. Great show, though I must say. I shall have to watch more later. I’ve only finished the first two episodes at the moment.
