I always think about things like that when a scene involves getting wet whether through a water slap or otherwise, especially when your hair is involved. Can you imagine if you have to dry and restyle your hair and probably redo your makeup and change or dry your clothes every time? Definitely get that puppy done in one take.

Question for all you kpop aficionados in this thread:
Let’s say a new video of your favorite group drops or you find a new one you haven’t seen before. Do you watch it once and focus on your fave (bias? is that the right term?) and just assume you will eventually watch it enough times to focus on everyone at least once? Or do you just go ahead and re-watch it that many times right away? Or maybe you just never even care about the other group members and only focus on your bias every time? Asking for a friend.

Die hard fans watch the new video multiple times a hour for days after a new video is dropped. That’s the only way they get a million of views in the first hour. You can’t just watch that video on repeat, the algorithm knows and discards them, you have to watch a couple videos in between. At least that’s what I’ve been told.
Since they watch it so many times it’s easy to focus on each one separately and as a group. I’m personally not quite that diehard, I don’t often watch videos for hours just increase the views of an MV. What do I do? I’m not sure, I think I typically watch the group first and then my bias the next viewing.

As someone who just recently started watching videos, I think I mostly do what you do, although I probably spend most of the time during the first group viewing trying to find my bias. 
I don’t recognize them on sight by specific body type, hair or movements just yet. hehe

I’m not surprised at K pop stars having problems getting English grammar correct since the Korean grammar structure is the complete opposite of English grammar. It’s easy to get confused. I agree with you that if these Korean music stars want to reach their full potential in the top music markets of USA and UK, they will need to release all English language songs and albums similar to what they have already done in Japan. Not saying that they can’t continue to release Korean content, just that they will need to also release the English language content as well, just like they do for Japan now.

I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this one Baekhyun always says that all the members infuse their own style with their dancing and each tries to make up for the others’ weaknesses. I love watching them dance! And Xiumin CAN BODY ROLL, PERIOD. 
Bias is the right term, but I’m a terribly fickle person. Once I start following a group, I slowly fall in love with each member to the point that I abandon all bias lists and love them all the same. I do that with EXO and NCT DREAM. I can’t choose a bias.
For dramas, the forward button gets a workout, but for EXO and NCT DREAM, the back button gets it’s exercise I keep rewinding to look at everyone. If you’ve watched the complete chaos that is NCT DREAM, you’ll understand I also watch the ones I enjoy multiple times.
This happens with the groups I newly start following. Basically I just watch it, pause it every now and then, and try to name them all Or I just focus on my bias.
Have you seen EXO or NCT DREAM play Mafia?? They go completely insane

Also true, but Kai is no slouch either. LOL I love the part at the end where it’s like “and then there’s these two”. That whole video is just so entertaining. I wish there were more like that.

I spoke too soon, maybe…
I just accidentally clicked on a GOT7 dance practice video (a group I had only heard of by name because I am a fan of Jinyoung’s acting), and I pretty much fell for all of them instantly in the video. I don’t know if other groups do this, but it was a ‘boyfriend’ version of their dance practice where they purposefully flirt with the camera. It’s so cute, and they look like they’re having so much fun. Unfortunately it looks like they aren’t really doing anything as a group anymore or else they’d have a new fan even without knowing anything about their music. LOL (Not that I can’t be a fan anyway)

Hv you watched 2 pm dance practices! They are good. I love watching Astro dance practices. I watch U-Know dance practices - Whatever I can get my hands on! I love it because you can see the moves.

I lied before. I have taken notice of Chansung before only because he surprised me with his dancing abilities, and he has the legs that I call ‘dancer legs’ and they stand out as the only one in jeans in that video.
