A sad thing indeed.
Same here! I used to read non-stop. Everyone I knew called me a bit bookworm. Id read everywhere I went, whether it was school or home or the mall or even while walking down the road (yes, I’ve almost been run over and smashed into a pole.)
I had read everything that interested me in my school library and I had read eveeything in my own library more than three or four times. I felt like I had read everything that there was to read! I’d probably go back to reading if I ever find a good enough book. Until then, Dramaland it is! And Dramaland has its own charms, I love it so much.
for 6 weeks without computer, no wifi, and all, I went back to reading some books, the intrigue romance ones, they were ok, fine and all, kept me occupied and all, but I was so glad to get home!
wifi, computer, all my dramas, tv shows and so on! yeah maybe for a time, but give me the computer and such, and isn’t it amazing a senior citizen says that!! I missed y’all, and missed my K,C,J T dramas as well! reading is fine, and I am bad, I didn’t even crack open the Bible!!
One bookand forgot the name, It was really good, the folks with PTSD? and the organization that trains dogs for these people, now that was quite interesting, and now I find out there is an organization (not sure in your part of the world) but the USA has an organization for that very thing. so yes I got involved with that story…
I am glad I am back!!!
I’ve started switching it up and watch more movies (closer to instant gratification instead of watching multiple episodes) and have also begun to return to some domestic productions. The only K-drama that REALLY has me hooked right now is Lovers of the Red Sky. I love to read like many of you but I find that my eyes cannot handle it so much any longer, especially after working on a computer all day long. Sigh…
I read this book YEARS ago and I am going to RESTART it today.
I remember it being so ROMANTIC - and you know! That is my Favorite!
So maybe my EYES need a hiatus from blue light on the computer - but never from HOTTIES!

likewise about movies
I have always been a book hoarder, and even though I went through a painful but necessary purge before moving last year, I still feel like a quarter of one of our large moving Pods was filled with boxes of books. My hubby is a reader, also. One of my dreams in life is to have a designated library in my house, complete with a rolling ladder.

Ok I swear @my_happy_place
You need to JUST STOP
Long story short - I was a HUGE bookworm nerd in elementary school. I worked in the library.
I have always wanted a library like this. My friend in the SW she was from England had a room turned into a library like this complete with ladder - it was small but I loved it. My favorite room at the Biltmore House was the HUGE library
I think we are the same PERSON!

I was there at Christmas and it was GORGEOUS!
That’s so amazing! I would love it so much!
I worked in the library in college, all four years. I was responsible for labeling all the new acquisitions with their Dewey Decimal catalog numbers.
I’m convinced of this.
This is a HONEYDEW BOBO Tea - (really there is no tea) SO YUMMY!

He’s doing endless hip thrusts and being a tease.
So again you know you have D.O.zie problems when you are gushing about him to your non kdrama friend in the car when she picks you up for lunch because your car is in the shop. And telling her the storyline and how sad you are that you miss
