Subtitle & Segment count frozen

Does anyone else have trouble with their subtitle en segment counter on their profile?
There seems to be a glitch in the project contributions as well as @deadliftdiva_548 pointed out
in another thread.

First it didn’t register any of my segmenting work and now I can only see the segmenting work I did (before I could only see the subtitles). I did help on a project today with segmenting, but my segment counter stayed the same.

I also subtitled a little on a project to see if my subtitle count would increase, but it stayed frozen for a couple of hours. It did go up a little bit, but I don’t think that is representative of the work I’ve actually done.

I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble with this specifically.

Must be a system glitch or something. I wonder if they are keeping track of them somewhere somehow… :worried:

Did you actually see the change? I’m having the same problem. It’s now saying that I need another 2500+ subs to maintain my QC status. I’ve posted on Viki Support, but it’s been a week and no one has gotten back to me. I guess it’s not a site-wide problem but a problem for a few? Weird.

It’s happened to me several times. It’s really annoying when they have an ongoing badge contest and i want to track my progress. The missing subs/segments showed up several hours later.

I think so, but I’m not 100% sure that I got all my subs back. I assume they kept track of it :slight_smile:

If I’m not mistaken it did take a while for it to ‘unfreeze’.
I have now learned to occasionally keep track of my subs/segments myself.

I think I should start doing this when I come back as well. How do you keep track?

Usually if you look at your projects before you sub / seg, you see a counter for how much you did for that episode. I write down that number. I made a couple of segments / subs and then refresh the projects page, to see if the counter went up. After I’m done, I write down the ‘new’ number for the project. Sometimes I just had to count the amount in the contributions. Different methods to keep track :slight_smile:
