Yes you can. It is not a Viki show so we can’t post the link here. Go to our drama lovers site on Discord. We are showing it on a Discord watch party.
ok will do!!
FINISHED and CLOSED THREAD
Nope I changed it!!!
We can use it a little more!!!
Swindlers is next Sunday Dec 5th 7 pm Eastern
It’ll be 5:30 AM IST so I can’t join
I didn’t notice any goblin watch party is it over already?
No we have not started yet
Goblin is in Dec - on FRI and Sat
I will post tomorrow
I think it is Dec 3rd
Has suggested this for one of our Sunday Fundays!!!
Night class at HU for the A students . . .
An evening of . . . Ooh! Classic hotties and tough ladies!!! the HU all-knowing, all-seeing, all-fangirling Supreme Overlord does it again!
Which will naturally require a breakout session of cheese-making: “Have you ever been arrested? Cause I’m pretty sure you just stole my heart!”
Since it’s a special winter session, I have provided myself with some “nog” (vegan egg nog made with almond milk that is as tasty as the real deal that does not invoke my food sensitivities).
And some cookies.
(Google screen cap)
Both from my local Wegmans.
So, how about The Swindlers as a holiday movie tradition?
Every time someone says “that’s him!” (or similar) take a sip of eggnog.
Every time someone says “but he’s dead!” (or similar) take a bite of a cookie (biscuit).
Or how about picking a phrase such as “Gotcha!” or “I have a proposition for you” or whatever and keeping count of how many times that phrase (or one similar) occurs in dialog? Then at the end, count the number of times it occurs, and contribute some amount of money starting with that number to a holiday charity. Or eat that many cookies all at once!
It’s going to be a fun evening, I can tell!
Our next movie is Grand Prix - hmmmmm - we need horse references!!!
This is so COOL - you are so Cool!!!
Well, by the end of the year, there will be quite the curated Hottie Watch Party collection with snacks and drinks to choose from, especially if you take into consideration the twelve days of Christmas.
Grand Prix, if you mean horse racing, and not auto racing, has to of course include chocolate of some kind.
Mint juleps are a must for attendees at the great races, as any horse lover from the Southern New Nited States knows.
I haven’t been able to handle alcohol beyond the miniscule amount in kombucha for about eight years now–two weeks with a kidney stone in 2013 meant all I could tolerate in my body was Vicodin and toast, and after the stone passed, for some reason I couldn’t drink booze without my hands and feet swelling up like balloons.
So I like the idea of a “virgin” julep.
If you want to give a nod to jockeys and their “racing silks,” then how about silken tofu pudding sweetened with maple syrup and colored with different kinds of fruit?
Add a tray of carrot and celery sticks (and dip).
And have an apple tart.
And anybody who collected My Little Pony figures . . . get 'em out!
I am so COOL aren’t I !!! LOL
We’d like to see more Watch Party discussions on this board! What do you say about having a new thread for each new party instead of updating existing ones?
Oh if that is ok - I thought maybe we were overwhelming with all our watch parties - we have so many going on!!! So updating because we run like “WATER GOD” every day sometimes. Goblin we run on Fridays and Saturdays and Sunday Movie we run every Sunday! You want a new one each time?? We have a lot of watch party threads so far.
Since we already watched 2 Hyun Bin Movies!!!
Time to add Rampant to the Sunday Funday!
