I use a black laptop nowadays (black keybord)and use my white as a backup.

I love that currently the first option is the majority, because it means there are others like me. Hahaha! I can be a big talker during screenings. I just love commenting as the story goes. It’s very fun for me. Thankfully, all the people I usually watch with are the same, so we get along.

What would you like to do with people who watch/listen to stuff om their phones in public places with the audio on for all to hear?

I’m not the type to confront anyone, much less actually hit them, and I typically wouldn’t think it’s egregious enough to have them arrested. Ideally, I could just magically make them disappear, but in the real world, maybe I could “accidentally” bump into them, causing their phone to hit the floor and break.

You don’t know how much I want here in USA to make a law that they will be ticketed when causing a public nuisance such as ‘‘us the public’’ having to hear some garbage ppl. love to hear and watch in public places.
I rarely use public transportation, but when I have no other choice but to use it; I get home with a headache from trying to block people’s loud conversation/watching dramas (even p o r n o!) Yes, they want to be so modernize here that perverts start to watch p o r n o on their phone, and you can hear things you wish Not to hear them. To those, I wish I could beat the hell out of them because we have kids around riding the public bus/train. I do say out loud ‘‘we are surrounded by very sick ppl. in here.’’
In Japan; no one is allowed to speak or watch things on the phone on the train or bus, and is very pleasant to see citizens respecting people’s space, and right to avoid listening to so much garbage because even a decent conversation is unnecessary for anyone to have to be listening to.
I recently had to use both train and Bus, and when I got home I was so drained, and the headache was so real that I took a scalding bath, my migraine pill and went to bed and slept for 4 hours. There was a young man arguing with his girlfriend, a middle age woman gossiping about her ‘‘best friend’’ (that she was no longer bestie with) and a wall street guy announcing that we were going to have a crash on the stock market that would be catastrophic. He was severely depressed bc he was lay off from work (by the way this is the second guy I encounter saying this on the phone).
Funny thing I was trying to tell my daughter something, and I couldn’t do it so I start to stutter and getting dizzy, and we end up laughing for a long while. She couldn’t look at my face that we would start ‘‘cracking up’’ and the combination of laughing and trying blocking; gave me a splitting headache. I pray I never have to take public transportation ever again.

If only I were rich, I could live in a detached house, free of the direct noise of neighbors. And I wouldn’t be the prey of shitty housing corporations. The owning itself doesn’t matter that much to me, but people who can buy a house do have more options.
