I have enjoyed working with you in the Ninja Sandbox. I am making the recommendation to the Academy for you to move to advanced training. .
this is my PM to him but I want more people to know about his great volunteer work he is doing:
I’m going to miss you! I hope I can bother you when I have any doubts. Can I? Your patience with me is admirable. Thank you, not only for your patience with me but for being a great teacher and taking your precious time to instruct me so well without criticizing but just encouraging me.
I hope I can make you proud when you see my segmenting work done in the near future.
And I think that it’s because there are so many that this thread doesn’t have more replies with lists. It would be a bit long and maybe also a bit boring to third parties.
I did thank all my senseis in my “I am a Ninja” post, some time back.
And there are three more people I’d like to express my gratitude to. The first two moderators that gave me work and guided me when I was a beginner: @mahoula and @simonadeluca_54, as well as the CM (other than mahoula) who gave me my first moderator position, @dudie. And a big special thank you to @ajumma2 for all the things I’ve learned from her. A sort of unofficial sensei…
Awww, this is so sweet of you, irmar! I’m so glad I’ve been able to answer at least some of your questions. I really enjoy working with you and reading your posts.
Your questions always makes me consider something that I had never thought of before and makes me think about my translation from a 3rd language point of view (besides Korean and English).
I can’t remember if it was you or someone else, but other language subbers were asking what “Rudolph, the red nose” was referring to and what “PTA” is in the Team Note. Besides explaining to her what they meant, I am now more mindful of other language subbers and try to be clearer and not assume that everyone knows not just Korean but also American cultural references.
