@vivi_1485, Flower of Evil, Dr, Romantic, and Lawless Lawyer are all super suggestions for a “Badger Productions” opening.
One is rooted in personal trauma, one is rooted in community trauma, and one is rooted in political/economic trauma.
One guarantees an “ugly cry,” one guarantees tears of pity, cheers of admiration, and cries of outrage; one guarantees placing an episode on pause, going to the bathroom, gathering snax, finding that comfy blankie, snuggling into the couch, and waiting to see how the good guys bend the law to the breaking point to get justice for the little guy.
Sounds like these ideas can go to the producer’s office. Though we must walk carefully down the hall lest we disturb the director who’s just come in from a night shoot and is sound asleep, stretched out on the conference room table. (And who is that sleeping under the table with a teddy bear, oozing BBF and CBF?)
I volunteer you as director. It seems a natural fit.

Ooh, I’m honored! I personally think I would do a better job as screenwriter, but I’d love to try my hand at directing!
There are quite a few dramas under way that fell to ruin because of lack of creativity and participation… let’s revive them!

@vivi_1485, if things are kept short and sweet instead of endless and experimental, then it will allow for participation by @kdrama2020ali who has more pressing imaginary (er, imaginative) issues . . .
It takes a lot of time and effort to lovingly folding idol sweaters into travel bags, buy boxes of red ginseng tonic, and send hotties off on imaginary (do excuse me, I mean imaginative) drives to windswept coastlines and day shoots . . . virtual personal assistants never have a virtual personal life.

Once a decision is made about the direction of the opening scene, then perhaps the nature of the ML and FL can be determined as well as the quotes that need to issue meaningfully from their mouths (before and after lip lock, which I do believe should occur within two minutes from the 00:00 time stamp, during the opening theme if possible).

This reminds me of our school trips 
All the girls would pack enough snacks for everyone and the boys would provide the entertainment. It was a wonderful example of co-existence 
Of course, we didn’t do it because the guys were handsome 
they’re like brothers to us.

Ummmh. . . I’d rethink that, why do I see housewives in training? 
Gender biased roles. Did the guys at any given time, provide the snacks for everyone, and the girls the entertainment? ijs Not to take away from your happy memory, by all means retain it!

I don’t remember it as a gender bias… we were all too afraid of getting on our teachers’ bad sides and knew how to behave. The “entertainment” is the boys doing stupid things without realizing the consequences and getting punished We were obviously way smarter… enjoy the fun while it lasts and slink away when they get caught.
That’s the thing… I don’t think boys think much when they’re that age. While we plan everything and make sure we never go hungry or get uncomfortable, they just bring whatever and suffer later. My brother does the same thing… we always end up having to buy things for him when we’re on vacation because he “forgot” to get them. He always has his tiny backpack half-filled while I carry a whole overflowing suitcase.

Ohhhh! You want her to share the hotties, as well as the promotions. Why do I think I saw that in a drama on Viki somewhere Yes I did! It was brilliant! I hope I still have it in my following. I’ll give it a check.
Update, I can’t find it, looks like the drama was among those scrapped from Viki, due to licensing. But! If I find it elswhere, I’ll drag it here for anyone to check it out!

I think that The “Viki Original” you haven’t seen yet should be bought out by Let’s write a story with our fav kdrama quotes. What do you think? There seems to be a lot of brand compatibility.
And also, there is an ongoing sub-thread of movie-making under Badges: Who thought they were a good idea.
And if @ninjas_with_onions agrees to be the PD once the dust settles, I think we could have a very profitable and productive thread.
Let’s write a story already has a crack writing team in place.
And despite what @ninjas_with_onions says, his memory for the apt line, his ability to bring perfect musical moments out of his personal archive, and his ability to circumvent the nosy interference of do-nothings in the corporate suite make him the ideal showrunner.
I will volunteer to run “sides” from the writer’s room to the set since I am still Viki’s oldest maknae. It should be a great experience.
On a more serious note, is there a way to “deactivate” a thread?
