We talk about Asian dramas a lot here but I thought it’d be cool to have a topic about the shows we would recommend from our home countries. 
I noticed from the “Introduce Yourself” thread that we have a lot of people from all over the world on Viki, so it’d be interesting if we could interest people in shows from our own countries.
I’m from the UK, so I would recommend Sherlock and Luther. They’re two detective shows. Luther’s very dark but Sherlock is a modern update of Sherlock Holmes and, although dark, is a bit lighter. I’ve also heard some really good things about Brideshead Revisited, although I’ve never seen it myself. Maybe Viki could work on acquiring the license. 
If you’re looking for something more K-Drama-esque, I’d probably recommend Miranda and Gavin & Stacey. They’re both comedies but have romance as a strong central theme. Miranda is really funny. I’ve always thought Gavin & Stacey was a bit overrated but it has a lot of charm.
