I love chocolate, lemon and many other things. I thought I would love all the desserts in the world LOL until one day, one of my colleagues brought a coconut flan.

It’s a variety of fruits, sweet beans, macapuno (soft coconut) and ube (purple yam), etc. over shaved ice. It’s very pretty and refreshing on a hot day.

I had a bad craving for lemon meringue pie, but went to 3 different supermarkets, and they didn’t have any (not even the single serving ones). I wonder what’s going on. Maybe they don’t make them in the summer? The last time I ate one, was around May (around mother’s day). I can’t buy it often bc my kids don’t like it and I have to eat it all (I don’t like the crust I never eat that bc I gag on it) lol

I have two: Kimchi fried rice a.k.a kimchi bokkeumbap and korean rolls a.k.a kimbap.
But when I’m out socializing, nothing beats korean fried chicken and beer (chimaek).
