I personally wish that the K-drama “thing” of including bits of really good cultural and historical inforrmation in story lines might expand just a bit in a second season of _Hwayugi_. The ancient text this drama is based on (_Journey to the West_) is the spiritual and cultural ancestor of the modern novel. I have only read excerpts of it but would love to know more about it. This is pretty funny: https://www.youtube.com/embed/61nuXrvqNgI?feature=oembed&wmode=opaque&list=PLDb22nlVXGgdg_NR_-GtTrMnbMVmtSSXa ---
