What’s the longest drama you ever watched completely here on Viki?
For me, so far, it’s I Have A Lover with 50 episodes of over an hour.

I think that must be

98 episodes, I didn’t like the drama that much but back then the communication at Viki was different. The channel atmosphere was lively and the timed comments were just hilarious and there was no distance to the channel team, so there was much interaction and fun.

Can you believe I’ve watched it twice? Yeah. Love this drama, the main four (love them all), and all the OSTs. If I can’t find anything else to watch, I may just rewatch it again. lol.

It has 72 episodes and it was one of the first shows I watched here on Viki. Don’t remember exactly, but it was within the first 5 shows that I watched here.

@mirjam_465 It’s restricted for me too now, but it wasn’t for quite a while I watched it when it was still uploaded by volunteers and later segmented and translated … That was how it was back then.

Actually a really long one was The Iron Empress with 78 episodes, I think it’s not on Viki anymore. It’s a Korean historical drama, I watched it marathon and my mind got a little weird, I got so absorbed by it! I think it’s very unhealthy to binge watch.

Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life, 100 episodes (but the ep is cut in half time, so technically only 50 eps)

Five Children, 54 episodes

I know I saw other lengthy dramas, but it’s long ago and they aren’t likely on Viki any longer… usually Korean family dramas can last many eps, in fact there are Korean dramas out there, that aren’t on Viki with looong eps.

Very rarely, I watch marathon and I’m afterwards exhausted and can’t watch any
drama… it’s bad for the eyes also…

Five Children (excellent, warmly recommended, very well-written)
Father is Strange (good, but I don’t like the female actress, which spoiled it a bit for me).

This was the only long term one I actually tried to watch, even though I bailed towards the end.
Definitely loved it though.

There was even a real life adaptation of it. The entire saga is buried somewhere here on the discussions but I’m too lazy to search for it. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
