Hi im from Barbados thats a lovely warm little island in the Caribbean most people know it now as the place where Rihanna’s from but before her we didn’t get much international publicity so not a lot of people knew about here

People get the Bahamas and Barbados mixed up alllllll the time. I’ve never actually been there, but I’ve been told I talk like I’m from the island. Granted, that’s when I lived nearby in Grenada, so the people might’ve had some preconceived ideas simply because of the location.
