OMG IM SORRY T.T i knoww, it was sad right? : ( yes, he died,and that was i think the reason why the teacher was so strict in keeping them apart, because the teacher knew that the boy was sick, and didnt want them to fall in love. someone said in the comments that in the end, the boy was playing a korean song of confession, which the notes on the piano where, āi love youā, but the teacher took over and played āhe loved youā. which made her cry. idk if thats really the case or if the teacher just pretended to be him, and the girl probably knew he died, but pretended to be happy with the song while smiling through her tears.
