Netty, where is the thread that is discussing this? I just got something in my email, and they’ve changed the wording. The scammers are aware of the security issue and are now using that to lure people to click links.
All gone All posts pertaining to this topic were deleted last night/early this morning. Just last evening, I posted screenshots of the fake Viki Support account and the PM sent to me which had different content than the others. This morning I realized all those posts from@porkypine@deval_chloe@teufelchen_netty_266 and some others(couldn’t remember their avas), including mine, were removed. Thought the sample screenshots provided by all would serve as good warnings to others.¯_(ツ)_/¯
Disappointed by the response. I tried to alert other legitimate users but the system or the hacker blocked it and no one was alerted to the scam. No response from Viki about the scam.
