We saw the latest version of “Sense Sensibility” with Kiera Knightly and Matthew McFayden when it was released here in the States. Love the OST, Dario Marianelli’s work was beautiful. Bought the DVD and CD.
The Colin Firth, Jennifer Ehle version is 5 1/2 hours.
I can’t remember if we watched the more recent version of “Persuasion” but did see the 1995 version with Amanda Root and Ciaran Hinds.
The BBC produced a TV series based on the 1868 novel by Wilke Collins, it’s a gothic thriller called “The Moonstone” (1972). The novel was very good too.
