Hiya all
Is it possible to have both the English and Korean subtitles displaying simultaneously?
This would be tremendously useful with my Korean learning, however I haven’t found such an option yet.

Unfortunately Viki doesn’t offer a built in way to display two subtitle languages at the same time. They used to have a “Learn Mode” feature that showed dual subtitle tracks, but it was discontinued and is no longer available.
Your best bet for that would be a third party Chrome extension designed for dual subtitles, like Sabi (How to Learn Languages on Viki: Dual Subtitles & Learn Mode), since Viki itself only lets you display one subtitle language at a time.

Thanks
Does Sabi show accurate Korean subtitles? I don’t want simplifications but the actual words being spoken.
Good question! From what I could find, Sabi uses the show’s existing subtitles as its main source when available, and only falls back to AI generated subtitles if the video doesn’t have any.
So for Korean specifically, accuracy would depend on whether Viki already has official Korean captions for that show.
If it does, you’re seeing those; if not, you’re seeing AI generated ones, which are usually decent but not always perfect…
