And what can we do if the Project Finder is not displaying the available channels for the CM position simultaneously for all the contributors? This is a very old issue, leading to some contributors seeing the new channels right away, while others can wait endlessly without seeing the channels, sometimes even when the CM has already been appointed. Not to mention that even on the Coming Soon section, the channels are not displayed for all contributors at the same time. For the past few months, it has happened to me quite a lot to receive channel links from other contributors while I was unable to find them anywhere on Viki.
Without a proper solution to these bugs on these pages, the appointment of the CMs will go under a deeper shade of suspicion, more than it is actually right now, due to the appointment management.

I wonder how I get a show? Last year I was coCM with two skilled CMs (on two different shows). This year I have applied to just about anything to be honest, I mean movies and series and gotten nothing. I’m coCM on a show right now that one of my Viki friends got and I was added afterwards. I have never abused Viki but I do wonder if there’s something about me or my skills that doesn’t live up to vikis demands. Seeing other volunteers get show after show and myself gettring nothing makes me feel disappointed. I love being a CS but I do want to do a show alone at least once.
I’m in the exact same situation as you.
At the end of last year and the beginning of this year, I was co-CM three times with the same person. Then I applied to almost everything, movies and series, without ever getting a solo project. Only very recently, about one or two weeks ago, I got a project with another person as a co-CM, and I also hope I’ll be able to get a solo project soon. 
Of course, it makes you doubt your skills. I truly understand you, because I think about it a lot too. 
But honestly, it’s not about your value or your talent. Viki’s process is opaque and depends a lot on timing, internal needs, and sometimes just luck. It doesn’t reflect what you bring or the quality of your work.
Maria, you’re incredible. 
Your dedication, seriousness, and energy speak for themselves. Don’t question yourself. You absolutely deserve your own project, and it will happen.

@maria_lavendula_77 , I was your very first CM Mentor, and all I can say is that you did a great job, like many other new CMs who become favored by Viki for this position.
Probably, I’m going to cut all my chances for any new project right now, but I must stay true to the facts and the stats: there have been PLENTY of chances to appoint those who started their CM role this year, instead of appointing the same people from 7 up to 11 times.
While some newbies received a second chance, or even more chances, with the same CM Mentor or a different one, others who already had their first channel are waiting even now for a second chance. While others receive answers from Viki for their mentoring requests, others are totally ignored. Then what is Viki expecting from these people to believe? They are not told if they did something wrong, but they are also not given a second chance, or even more chances, because this year we had the necessary number of channels for this.
I will repeat: there have been PLENTY of channels this year to have a fair repartition of the channels, including the newbies.

I apply, too, and get no channels, while I see volunteers get one channel after another.
I tried movies, small drama channels, different genres, also dramas with different origin countries, and mostly just channels I like, but no luck.
I applied as Mentor and alone, but still the same outcome.
And yes, it’s disappointing, discouraging and sad. But what can we do? Nothing. We stay silent, so that we maybe have a little chance to get another CM channel in the future.
Yes, so it looks since yesterday evening after bepina got the movie channel. No other channel was left then.
Previously, channels only showed up there after hours or even days - and I’ve never seen No. 160 getting selected, just like I’ve seen CMs added 30 minutes after the channel was first visible to anyone. So I think it’s more likely that these channels will end up in the hands of people who bothered to write a PM because of mentoring attempts or something like this.
Right now, there is one channel open for the CM role. What do we have in the Project Finder? Nothing!
