Not really a lot, if you compare it to other genres (legal, medical, time travel).
And you forgot one, “I’m Human too”.
I have noticed that once a theme becomes popular, there are more and more of that during the year. Then next year there is another popular theme and the first one gets forgotten.
Two in your list are web dramas. I did watch one of them, “I Am”, and it was horrible. I may venture a theory: playing a robot is a nice start for idols who can’t act. Their wooden interpretation will be less obvious and taken as “being into the role”.
Back in April I missed this but I still want to say ROBOT dramas are junks!
‘‘Are you human too’’ with these 2 young actor/actress I really like, and see so much potential in their future, I felt this drama was a bomb. I hated the fact they wasted their talents/time in here. It was such an absurd story and the ending was even more ridiculous.
there has been so many of the dramas going around for many years, I really am not fond of them, only one I did like is DATA, y’know startrrek, anyway there were some like AI, almost human and those others you all mentioned, if you think about it, machines taking over where humans become obsolete? (transformers) kinda scary there. imagination running away again. but sure they are good to watch, does get you to thinking too. I did like are you human, still think there was one like it some years ago. yes the ending could have been a bit better, but still was a good watch.
Hmmm…I like them…but then again I always have since I was a child. Not your genre? So? Plenty of other stuff here to watch. I find them and other shows like them to be a great break after watching a long-winded saeguk or 120 ep family drama. Gives my brain a rest.
You’re confusing me with someone else. I do like robot stories. I own every robot story by Isaac Asimov, which I avidly read in my teens.
I just said I didn’t like the web drama “I Am” because it was badly written and badly acted.
