@vikicommunity Guys, it’s 2026 soon, and FULL HD is still not avaliable on VIKI yet, not everywhere at least, not to mention 4K. Am I the only one who thinks the quality on VIKI is “not good” to say the least. The browser version is bugging as hell and after a couple of episodes the site is so slow I could cook a whole dinner, and I have a high end PC and 2000Mbs internet.
Also, it’s about time to give us more option to costumize subtitles. Especially the Text Size, because this is a streaming platform not a clothing webshop. “M” is way too small" and “L” is too big.

Totally agree — it’s crazy that in 2025 we still don’t have consistent Full HD or 4K on Viki. The site lag and limited subtitle options are frustrating too. Really hope they upgrade the streaming quality and give us proper subtitle customization soon.
The funy thing is, in the US there’s a FHD Plan, but not in Europe. I wouldn’t mind if they won’t give us 4K. I mean, if you look at other platforms, it’s not really 4K, because you can’t have a real 4K on any streaming, only on a Bluray disc, but they could do a FHD with proper quality bitrates.
But we all know VIKI never listens, and most people don’t care about these things anyway. I know so many drama fans who still watch shows on 480p.
Totally agree — you’re definitely not the only one noticing that. The video quality feels really outdated for 2025 standards, especially when most other platforms offer at least 1080p by default. And yeah, the browser performance can get rough after a few episodes — it’s not just your setup.
The subtitle customization thing is spot on too. A couple more size and style options would make a big difference. Hopefully Viki takes note; the content is great, but the viewing experience really needs an update.
