The best C-drama find was for me in 2024 was Melody of Golden Age [MoGA]. It randomly popped up on my YT feed and had me hooked with its brilliant acting! I have so many thoughts about it that I created a YT channel to talk about it XD

Let you know when I have completed the series
I’m looking for a movie and I don’t know the name. I know it was about a mafia boss, a gangster or something. One day he met a girl and gave her his umbrella. Later, in the news, her disappearance appeared where only the umbrella remained on the floor. He tried to look for her no matter what.
Just shooting in the dark with this one, but maybe “My Lethal Man”? I actually haven’t seen it myself to know for sure, but I think the ML is a mafia boss. I think it’s also a short drama, so it might also be movie length too.
I’m going to put my two cents in and say “Later, I Laughed” was the best C-Drama of 2024 for me. It’s such a meaningful and wonderful story about what it means to chase your dreams, how to balance those with your life, what it means to be yourself, and what a relationship with the people around you, as well as three different potential partners, looks like. It was very real and very objective in all its plot points, not glossing over or romanticizing anything. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good slice-of-life C-Drama.
