oh gosh, just an update, @dramaaaaa @Kurama @ger_o_malley i dont know how to prepare myself for Nice guy’s ending. i know its not gonna be pretty OR happy. geez, im so scared right now. i didnt know it was gonna be a sad drama, and from now on, i will be trying to stay as far away from “sad” as possible. THIS IS THE LAST ONE PEOPLE llol
@ger_o_malley
i was only watching it because 1) i love joong ki (my new love on my drama guys list) and 2) i heard so many here say how good it is, and recommend it to me, so i had to find out for myself. i must say it IS good, i just dont know whats gonna happen at the end. but yeahhh, i wont be recommending it to you, its most likely a sad end. i will let you know how it goes when i finish it, because im almost soon to be done with it. :slight_smile:
what i will recommend if you are looking for other dramas, is if you ever watched the drama “delightful girl choonhyuan” ? its pretty good, light and funny drama, with some drama to it but still very good and also another one of those “not very talked about”. also in the same category is “hello my teacher” which i loved xD

im planning on starting some more recent dramas that came out that i never started but heard so much about, aswell as some older ones that ive got on my “watch later” list that also arent that popular, and if i see anything good i will let you know :slight_smile:

btw what are you watching these days?

I agree about Heirs not being all that for me.

I’m with you on almost everything, except King2Hearts (loved it) and Paradise Ranch (not crazy about it, but it was okay, not the worst of them).

As for Don’t Hesitate, I was having so much fun watching it, that I have a special place for it in my heart. Not because of the drama itself, but because of the conversations around it. I’ve got to know a lot of people through this drama. We were making fun of it, creating nicknames for characters, making predictions and so on. I was laughing all the way till the end. The memory of “liver” discussions still make me laugh. I was sad all those comments disappeared with new viki.
So, even though this is probably the worst drama there is, I don’t regret watching it.

okay, after all that stressing and i think i will die of old age from these mellowdramas that are aging me by the minute, i will suggest “Nice guy”. :slight_smile: its very good and i got hooked and i just finished it, its been a while and it takes allot for me to marathon a drama, but i did and i am glad i watched it, thats all ill say.

Oh as I mentioned before to you I’ve looked up the nice light ones so here goes.
( 1 ) Discovery of Romance. some sites call it Discovery of Love.
( 2 ) She’s so Loveable.
( 3 ) Springtime.
and of course the only 50 episode drama I’ve ever stuck with… "Glorious Day’
Did a marathon on an older one last week only because the guy in ‘Temptation’ was in it and I was curious if he was just awful in everything. He played two parts (twins) he was much better in it and ‘Medical Top team’ so I guess it was just the ridiculous script of the more recent one.
Watched the first E of the new historic one about Prince Sado but I’m lost already even went back over it but didn’t help guess I’m going to need some guidance on this one can’t fathom what’s going on at all.

LOL ive had many of those “cant fathom at all” moments with some dramas lol.

ahh thanks for the suggestion! i want to watch “she’s so loveable” ! i will probably start it soon xD it looks cute i saw the trailers.

ive also been watching some very happy hilarious movies these days, and it might give you a pick me up to watch. ive watched “100 days with mr. arrogant” <— loved
and “My little Bride” <----- very funny and cute xD

just an idea, and tell me how all these dramas go that you’ve been watching :slight_smile:

Well ‘She’s So loveable’ only started last week with two episodes so can’t really say yet if it’s good but the leads are interesting at least.
‘Discovery of Romance’ is coming to an end soon and the lead girl is quite complex. I have no fault with the actress but the character as written is not likeable. Her friends are more interesting her doctor boy friend is whimpy. Her ex is a more interesting character which has left me having no interest in whether she gets a happy ending or not. I’m more interested in the other parts in the story than the leads. A typical lost in translation case for me.
‘Springtime’ is nice so far of course been done before, she has fallen for the boyfriend’s brother but doesn’t know why. So ergo although I needed some light relief after crying myself dry with the heavy ones and been disappointed to read that my weekend one has been slashed by 6 episodes off I went to some older ones that had passed me by.
Started in on an '02 drama with the pair from ‘Fated’ gee wiz how young they are. Getting a laugh at least.

thanks for the update! i havent started anything new like these but im glad i now have an idea about these so that i can know more about them. i also want to see iron man, looks interesting. i dont know when ill be starting all these dramas, but when i do, ill let you know when im watching them xD so many good ones are out and ive heard so much about them all, im missing out on allot T.T but im starting them 1 at a time. im still watching older ones while catching up on surplus princess, which is very funny xD

OMG, I just watched the Mother of all ‘MELODRAMAS’ no joke. I think I said recently that I had gone on a search of old ones prompted by some actors/actresses who have shown up in the dramas of the last 6 months. Reading comments that were excited by the leads in these more recent ones I searched out old projects. Now you know that I had drama overload of the crying kind, mentioned these already so won’t repeat myself. So Ok ‘Winter Sonata’ keep away from it… this is truly an exercise in patience. The direction is atrocious, the Korean ‘pauses’ are over done. I am willing to forgive a little because it’s an ‘02’ drama but could be done so much better. I also read that one of the male leads committed suicide in 2010 Lord rest his soul. That only upset me even more than the pathetic role the poor guy had to play in the drama. Anyway if you have not seen it please don’t go there. Every annoying element of Korean drama is magnified in this one. The first 6 months of this year have given us some really good shows so I guess the writers may be getting better but deff the directors are. Only watching two Kdramas now one Taiwanese. All airing at the moment.

@ger_o_malley
LOL I thought of all the 4 season dramas besides Spring Waltz was the easiest watch, for me Summer Scent and Autumn Tale were worse, for others it’s still a favorite on their list.
Another drama that you might want to avoid then might be Queen of the Games, eventhough I have a weak spot for that one. :wink:

Well I watched two others from '02 and ‘04 which were so much better but I’m taking your advice and leaving the ‘Season’ ones without any curiosity. I just couldn’t take another dreadful script that includes the Korean mandatory Mother who is ’ evil personified’ and so called friends who’d knife a pal in the back without blinking. Enough is deff enough for me in this awful genre. Praying that the writer of ‘It’s ok’ gives us another great script full of mature adults behaving like adults… Ah sure you know what I mean.

what didnt you like about inspiring generation?
