Hello everyone! I am here to inform you guys of two upcoming Chinese dramas: “My Mr. Mermaid” and “The King’s Woman”.

Synopsis: The college swimming league is about to begin. This will be the biggest duel between top swimmers Qi Ruifeng (Huang Shengchi) of South Physical Education College and Ouyang Heng (Pang Hanchen) of North Physical Education College. At the same competition, Tang Yibai (Dylan Xiong) of South Physical Education College, after a three-year hiatus, will return to the swimming stadium. His best friend Qi Ruifeng and his coach have high hopes for him, and Tang Yibai has worked his best to pursue his dream again. Just before the competition, Tang Yibai meets the trainee reporter Yun Duo (Tan Songyun). She learned of Tang Yibai’s past and dreams, and encouraged him. Later, Yun Duo rented a room in Tang Yibai’s house unknowingly. After Yun Duo and Tang Yibai accidentally discovered their new relationship, the two interacted more frequently, slowly developing feelings for each other.

The King’s Woman 丽姬传

Synopsis: Gongsun Li (Dilraba Dilmurat) grew up studying martial arts from her grandfather, and inadvertently saved the young Ying Zheng from the hands of his bullies. After that incident, Ying Zheng found himself frequently thinking about his benefactor. During the Warring States period, Gongsun Li and her second senior Jing Ke (Liu Chang) escaped from the unending battles of their hometown. The two of them relied on each other for survival. Second Senior, in order to save Gongsun Li, poisoned himself. Looking for a way to get the antidote to save him, Gongsun Li made the decision to marry into the palace to emperor Ying Zheng (Zhang Binbin) in exchange, where she became known as Li Ji. To her surprise, she found out that she was pregnant! Ying Zheng decided to hide this information from the public, by saying he is the father of the child. After Tianming was born, Ying Zheng treated the child as his own, and this deeply touched Li Ji. Then, Li Ji’s eldest senior Han Shen (Li Tai) wanted to take her away from the palace, but once he knew of the situation, he decided to stay as a secret protector of Li Ji and Tianming. As Li Ji and Ying Zheng spent more time together, she began to see the gentle side of Ying Zheng, thus slowly fell in love with him. Li Ji faces many difficulties in the Inner Palace, but her kindness and intelligence gains her respect, and she ultimately becomes the empress.
