Ah, Mahoula, you’ve taken the words from my mouth, I would say exactly the same!
We have frustrations and disappointments in our daily lives, our loved family members and friends die one by one, and many of us have love stories which ended very badly. Enough tears there. We don’t want to experience pain and shed tears for the sake of fictional characters as well! I’m willing to shed some tears only if I know for sure that it’s going to be all right at the end.
