The Certified badge has been around for a while, but when Discobot messages you he doesn’t tell you that the tasks he’s giving you will result in a badge. The Licensed badge is newer, it wasn’t around when I started on Discussions.

Even now, he still doesn’t give me tasks. All I found out just now messaging him is that I can let him say a quote, tell my fortune, and roll a dice. :smile:

Okay I did both tutorials. They weren’t there when I first started. I think they are very useful and well-done for people who first come here, they are a good introduction of the available features in writing a post.
