Is there a way to change your avatar? When I signed up I had just gotten a new laptop and didn’t have my pictures on it yet so I just grabbed one off the web. I’d like to use my normal avatar if I could but I can’t seem to find an option to change it.

Thanks for that information but there is no “Choose file” button in my Account. The only option for Account does not have an Edit option. Therefore there is no “Choose file” option…
If I could upload a screenshot here I would be able to show you that no choose file button exists in this discussion area. I did change it out on the main page but that didn’t change the avatar for this area.

I don’t think you can do it within the mobile app. You need to access the desktop version of Viki. Click on your current profile photo in the upper right corner > Account Settings > Edit Profile tab > Scroll down below your photo > Choose file.

Thanks for trying but I did change it there but it hasn’t made a difference here. It changed fine over there, just not here.
Log-out and then log-in again to take effect on Discussions too.
Like Adrian mentioned log out and back in is the key.
Yeah, did that. Four times now. After the episode I am watching is over I’ll log completely out again and give it a couple of minutes before logging back in and see if that helps.
Yeah! Finally. I shut my computer completely down and when I came back it was changed. Thanks for all the advice.
on the viki site, click your profile pic> profile>choose file
on discussions: click profile>preferences>Profile
I have tried and just not working, and so the size does matter, will have to find a smaller picture.I wanted to change mine too, the picture I do have here, time for a change! I will work on that today
Yes, size does matter in everything in life, like for the avatar it has to be small if not, it says that the picture is too big so it won’t upload. My pictures, I reduce the size when it doesn’t want to add in profile. So if the thing is big, and you make it smaller, it will work in your profile.
You have to know how much to reduce bc it can affect how the image will look.

hehehehe, wish it was, its a picture of statues near Indonesia, if I remember right, and they are substituted for reefs! but they were so pretty, and in a circle below the ocean. glad you liked the candycane, the candy cand does look pretty.
