Thanks so much for your information related to A Splendid Match. I just finished watching it, and it is really an amazing drama. It’s one of those dramas that I will return to after I’ve had time to process all the ways it touched both heart and mind.
On a practical note: I was amazed that all the actors could keep in character and deliver convincing performances while wearing so many layers of clothing and so many wigs.
On an emotional note: the actor playing the young emperor is someone to keep an eye on. He handled himself very well, and I cried as much for his character’s struggles as I did for anyone else’s.
