this is more of a question than a comment. i am a fan of romcoms and scifi/fantasy dramas so i check in the description for certain keywords. however i noticed in the genre section of show descriptions there is both “drama” and “melodrama” categories and some shows have one or the other and sometimes even both. so my question is in regards to genres what is the difference between a regular “drama” and a melodrama"? and can it be one without the other?
Melodrama in Europe/America means a different thing than in Far Eastern countries. See here:
