Drama with arranged marriage?

Hi!
I do not speak English well, I’m Italian. You can suggest or list the dramas wheres the protagonist have an arranged marriage or an arranged engagement? Thank you all!
(I already saw Goong and King2Hearts)
ps. Obviously the protagonists have to fall in love :3

Because This Is My First Life - It just finished airing. The 2 leads meet by chance and they decide to get married for 2 years so that each of them can focus on their lifes without having to worry about some things (rent, house chores etc). (Happy ending)

Fated to Love You - Male lead meets female lead by accident, something happens and they end up having to get married. (I don’t remember if it has a happy or a sad ending.)

You may also like: One More Happy Ending - Female lead owns a company that helps divorced people get a second chance in love (basicaly a matchmaking company :stuck_out_tongue:) (I’m pretty sure it has a happy ending.)

Maybe even: Goblin - Not technicaly married/engaged but female lead and male lear are “soulmates”. She is the “only one who can do something to him”.

Not EXACTLY about arranged marriage but pretty close I think.

(Korean) CONTRACT MARRIAGE: I loved it! although many say they don’t like it, please, just check it out.

(Taiwanese) DRUNKEN TO LOVE YOU: Just as good, very different plot, but really nice.

(Taiwanese) Inborn pair. You can say my favorite of this three.

All good but the last is too long in my opinion

Thanks everyone! Another suggestion?

I’m not sure if this one counts, but maybe The Moon that embraces the sun… it kinda has the premise of arrange marriage of the two leads, but they actually liked each other and well he had to marry someone else first… It has a happy ending and it’s one of my favorites.

Also, 7 Days Queen … but again, they actually (she) wants to get married. The ending is bittersweet. Still highly recommended!

Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms , Ye Hua and Bai Qian had an arranged marriage but the story is not really much about that, (though he uses that to get closer to her  ) , still it’s a great cdrama and it has a “happy” ending.

Oh The princess’ man also has the plot of an arrange marriage but not between the leads, there’s some issue where he thinks she’s the princess when she actually is the cousin, this one is actually really good and has a happy ending.

Maybe they don’t have the typical “arrange marriage” plot that you are looking for, but they all kinda get together because of something related to that.

@ mahoula:
I have to be honest I skipped many parts bc it was long, and most scenes were so unnecessary in that drama, that I couldn’t stand watching them.

In Asian dramas, I skip many parts since some are so boring, I get furious to even see them there. In the Doctor’s drama I mainly skip the surgeries unless it has an emotional dying scene. Most Asian dramas are so predictable you know what’s coming in the scene, and that’s such a turn off.

Thanks a lot to everyone for the advice! Do you know others?

Siyah beyaz ask (turkish)

Golden Bride

Thai Lakorns have a lot of arranged marriages.

Maybe a drama you didn’t have on your list
https://www.viki.com/tv/25870c-heard-it-through-the-grapevine?q=heard
Since it is placed at a family where it is all about connections and the believe that one should stay in their circles.

There are many dramas with arranged marriage in them:

Korean dramas:
https://mydramalist.com/24-full-house-
and all the spin-offs (the Thai one is one of the most sugar-coated one but still it is endearing)
https://mydramalist.com/221-my-lovely-sam-soon
https://mydramalist.com/9558-fated-to-love-you
but check also the Taiwanese first version - it is more dramatic and more cliched, but… it was the original drama
https://mydramalist.com/747-fated-to-love-you
https://mydramalist.com/198-1-of-anything
and its modern version: https://mydramalist.com/18774-something-about-1-percent ( you will totally love it)

From Chinese corner of the world, you might want to check these out:

https://mydramalist.com/24275-the-eternal-love (not arranged/forced but a body switch so…you will have to judge by yourself)
https://mydramalist.com/8898-lady-liar - not necessarily am arranged marriage, but… a forced one definitely ;))

Taiwanese corner:
https://mydramalist.com/209-summers-desire
https://mydramalist.com/297-love-contract - not marriage but a bet, still a very mature and actually heavy drama

https://mydramalist.com/216-easy-fortune-happy-life
https://mydramalist.com/760-sunny-happiness
You could probably say that “It started with a Kiss” is a pre-arranged marriage, where one Mom is hell-bent on having this particular girl as her daughter-in-law but it is more “her chasing him” story rather than arranged marriage:
https://mydramalist.com/58-it-started-with-a-kiss

Japanese corner:
https://mydramalist.com/491-pride - I was so obsessed with that one… wait, scratch “was”. it is my favourite  it may not be arranged marriage, but arranged dating but it is really a nice piece of drama to watch.

Hope this helps?
