Hey there, I’m a Viki Veteran of 16 years and am looking for projects after having taken some time off the past few years.
My specialty on Viki is Mandarin Chinese language shows, both Mainland and Taiwanese, which has granted me a decent familiarity with the language and allows me to edit more effectively, but I am familiar with dramas from all manner of countries and languages. Previous projects of mine include series from South Korea, Japan, India, and Russia.
I prefer working on shows in the romance genre, since it’s easiest to work when a show is something one wishes to watch.
I have a strong English background, lots of experience in different Viki project roles, and would love to use my skills to contribute.

Hi, Kriss!!! It has been a loooooooooooooooooong time! Viki still works the same, but a bit differently with new rules now. To get an editing job, you should write the CM or other editors you remember that are actually still here to get your foot back in the door.

I hope the years and community have been treating you well. It’s nice to know that after all this time, not every active user is a recent join. When I was looking at a couple channels the other day, I didn’t recognize anyone in the team lists.
That’s one reason why I figured a forum post might be worthwhile. A lot of names from the old days elude my recollection and I’m relearning how to even go about finding projects that might be in need of someone like me.
