I live in Louisiana and we have our own cooking called cajun & creole. Just made some gumbo yesterday! Can’t forget about the red beans & rice, jambalaya, etouffee, & creole. mmmmm!

Yes, I know. I’ve been to many restaurants there, but booksand only mentioned visiting Boston and LA, not NY. That’s why I didn’t say anything about the K-town in NYC. I believe K-Town in LA is much bigger, too.

Whow! I’ve never been to L.A. So that’s good to know. Is it safe to say there might be a K-Town in Boston:blush:I’m sure a google search will answer. Thanks as always ajumma2:tipping_hand_woman::raising_hand_woman: (⌒▽⌒) (´▽ `@)ノ

I didn’t really see K-town in Boston the last time I stayed near there. That doesn’t mean there isn’t one. I did find a few Korean restaurants nearby but I didn’t actually go into the city.

I grew up with Czech cuisine and then Swiss. I ate in London (not my fave except Chinese) and while living in Malaga and Ibiza I loved tapas, pesca a la plancha and boquerones (my absolute favorite). Some Italian and French are delish too.
I have issues with American everyday food dishes see chain restaurants (!! not a fan of fried food or their sandwich breads!) but Thanksgiving dishes are tasty. With Viki I’m now eating and making my own Kimchi and ramen/seaweed soups I use buckwheat noodles. My dream is to visit the street food stands in Korea to taste all kinds of dishes, I had also once the red bean buns, hmmmm…

:sake: Soju is very, very strong. It reminds me of Jamaican rum, Vodka, or Moonshine.
Try the rice wine, it’s better on the tastebuds:wink::ok_hand::blush:
