📚 Free Mandarin Mini-Lesson PDF!

Hey everyone! :star2:

I’ve been studying Mandarin Chinese on my own lately (wish me luck :laughing:) and to make things easier I created some slides for myself. Then I thought — why not share them with you all too? So I turned them into a PDF in case any fellow students here might find them helpful! :books::sparkles:

The PDF is basically a short dialogue, so the pages go in sequence — try to memorize them step by step! If you’d like to practice pronunciation too, I recommend using Google Translate or Ondoku — both are free and the audio is pretty decent. :headphones::dragon:

Knowing Mandarin is super useful — not just for dramas! :wink:

If you’d like more lessons like this, just let me know and I’ll be happy to post them here. And of course, if you have any suggestions, tips, or feedback, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Happy learning everyone! 加油! :muscle::sparkles:

Awesome! I’m not very good with the tones. My partner, who is fluent in Mandarin, likes laughing at me when I try to get the various tones correct.

Haha, that’s so relatable! :laughing: Don’t worry — tones are tricky for everyone at first, but you’re doing great just by practicing out loud. I’m glad my little Mandarin PDF could help you get started — keep at it, and soon your partner will be impressed instead of amused! 如果需要帮忙, just let me know! :seedling::sparkles:

Hey everyone! :wave::sparkles:
It’s so fun to notice how dramas — and not just historical ones! — often use the same phrases and expressions over and over again. Once you spot them, they’re super easy to pick up and reuse.
Here’s one for today! :scroll:
Keep an eye out for this line next time you watch a drama! :eyes::boom:
