IMO this is inappropriate to say, as people here are all, first and foremost, members of the Viki Contributor Community where Discussions (this site) is the main forum. And only after that are they members of individual academies (if any).
Closing the doors to open discussions never lead this community anywhere. Do the recruits of former EEA, the rest of the community not deserve to voice their opinion?

All those invited and actively involved have been informed in detail about the situation. The founding of EEA wasn’t an open project to be discussed and organized here. As for my post, I thought it was clear that it is for the ex-EEA staff who read the notice and know the reasons very well.

Again: NSSA is not owned by Viki, it’s an independent entity created and run by volunteers.
Viki, recognizing NSSA’s worth, has been giving it a channel page to publicize their offered courses, and also some badges to put in one’s collection.
It’s not helping it or funding it or organizing it or telling it what to do. Therefore it cannot close it either.
