You’re welcome. :grinning:

I likely sound like a broken record on this (people who’ve never seen LPs will not know what this means…) but I would really like to see more dramas from genres other than Romance, Rom-Coms, etc. for a change. Not that those aren’t good too, but the vast bulk of current Japanese dramas are a kind of monolithic, tunnel-vision Romance, Romantic Comedy, Romantic this, Romantic that, etc etc etc.

What about medical dramas, police dramas, detective dramas, school dramas, suspense dramas, paranormal dramas, science fiction dramas, historical dramas (I would die to be able to watch the 2003 NHK drama “Musashi” or the 2010 NHK drama “Ryomaden” - because Japanese history is almost completely absent from American schools and that history is fascinating,) mysteries (“Subete ga F ni Naru” is something I saw a long time ago and would like to see again,) and any of the rest of the vast variety of genres available?

Again I’ve seen some excellent dramas from within the Romance and Rom-Com genres, but we are starving for variety out here.
