I don’t know what cave I have been in these past few years, honestly have not heard of BTS until this year 
. Can I just say, I’m so proud for this younger generation of fans who adore them. I think it’s incredible that an Asian group has crossed ethnic lines like this because talent and great music is color-blind.
Anyway, having said that, I think my respect for them has increased when I saw their “Dynamite” video because of their tribute to Michael Jackson’s form and moves , most especially from Billie Jean as seen here:

Lol, you’re not the only one who took the other route to Korean music. 
I had already a huge list with Korean music on YouTube, certain artists I particulary liked, was learning Korean, watching videos about the country and the language … And at some point, months (at least) later, I stumbled upon some discussion (I think it was on Duolingo, not sure, though), where people were talking about some band called BTS. And I thought: “Who they?” 
Well, later on there was a friend from another forum who started recommending me some of their songs and later one of their songs was also used in a Korean Unnie lesson:

Gosh, I feel like I am really showing my age here.
I have a Spotify playlist titled “Oldies” that I listen to while I work out on my elliptical (which is rare these days). Just to give you an idea of how aged I am, I have songs by Earth, Wind and Fire, Michael Jackson, Prince, Santana, The Clash (just one song, Rock the Casbah), etc. Don’t judge me, okay 
Btw, if any of you use Reddit, there is a subsection called RedditSessions where musicians live stream their music and take requests. There are some real good DJs who will take requests as well.

@choitrio - I looove all of those artists you mentioned - well except the Clash, not that familiar with them but I know of that song . I saw Prince 
in concert in 2011 - little did I know, he’d be gone a few years later.

I knew you would have a good taste in music. Yeah, EWF definitely makes you want to “desbundar”. I have three kids who fortunately all love EWF as well so we decided that one of them has to get married on the 21st (night) of September just so that we can have the family (instead of mother-groom) dance on the floor.

I love that Hyde and Gackt’s song (and I love them!). It’s so emotive. Here’s a YT with English subtitles. The lyrics are simple yet superbly touching. I think I was “carried away” when I heard (and saw) that “eternal goodbye” image in my mind. Gackt and Hyde are so talented. They never fail to draw me (you?) in, emotionally, through their musical talent.
