I actually liked the ending of Rooftop Prince and how Song Yi are both Incarnations making them Eternal Soul Mates destined to find each other throughout time and fall in love throughout eternity. I find it extremely romantic and having found my own soulmate in RL hope that we also will find one another in our next lifetime so dramas like this hold a special place in my heart for that reason.
Iām REALLY hoping they make a squeal for Gu Family Book that takes place n the future the ending sure set it up for one I would just FREAK OUT if they did!!! Love love loveeeeeee that drama!!!

Well i would agree with you if Do Min Joon showed that he really wished to go there for a reason (parents/love/anything he is attached to there)ā¦ and well i donāt see any logical reason for him to back there considering the fact that he doesnāt show any real attachment to his own planetā¦
And seeing the fact that he is really attached to Song yi and he loves her and he feels pain every time he thinks that his day to go is coming near and that he really doesnāt want to leave thatās why i really hope he become humanā¦
I really need a happy ending to this drama lol it would make me really depressed otherwise

I thought about that too if he wants to go to his planet and the question of if he will loose his identity or not. .
I donāt think that identity is related to where you are fromā¦
Whatās important is where you feel at home and that is with song yi.

Exactly. I am Indonesian and Iām married with a New Zealander so here I am in New Zealand, my 2nd home. We donāt have to be where we came from. Home is where our love is. And I dont lose my identity just because I dont live in Indonesia anymore.
So I can understand Min Joonās sobs on ep 12ās epilogue when he was thinking about him going back home and why he prefers to ādieā on earth rather than going back to his planet. Because his love is here, not in his planet.

I havent got a time to watch Can We Love fully, only watched it in parts when I was segmenting it. Interesting drama, from what I have seen, although only in parts and without subs
@dramaaaaa @Wafaahs @auroratasya I guess I couldnāt express myself very well. I never said that his identity is related to his planet. My main point was just that I donāt like him becoming human and since I was asked why, I tried to explain it. Iām not a native english speaker, so the words I chose may not be the best to describe my statement. With origin I didnāt mean his home planet. And apart from that, just because I may be living in another place doesnāt change the fact, that Iām still German.
My opinion: If he stays on earth or goes back to his planet doesnāt matter to me. Canāt he be happy while being an alien?
