I can’t remember how many times I’ve felt very interested and excited about a project on the project finder page only to find that it has already been completed (segmented & translated) into 3 or 4 specific languages & honestly that’s very very frustrating to me.
so i wish if we could have a new project finder page that only displays available projects to us volunteers.
I think this will be beneficial for us as volunteers by focusing on available projects instead of wasting time checking on projects that has already been completed.

I agree with you.
When a moderator finishes recruiting, they can normally “hide” the project from Project Finder. But there is often a bug, and sometimes the language does not appear in the list, so the moderator cannot hide it.
It’s exactly the case on my project with the person I’m training: we have finished recruitment, but we still can’t hide the language.
Because of that, some projects stay visible even though recruitment is already closed, and even old projects sometimes show up again.

I understand your issue but that wasn’t what i was talking about, i meant these already completed projects that’s been managed by vikisubteam & comes only in English, Spanish, French & Portuguese .
These projects doesn’t have or need a team at all but it’s still on the project finder page for no reason.
