My dear friend BJW, I am so saddened to hear of your passing. You were such a wonderful person. I had waited, and waited to hear your reply in our last conversation we had. I knew you had fallen ill but I had hoped you would bounce back again. You will be dearly missed. You were one of my sensei when I went through my segging class. You were always so very generous with your time. Your wisdom and knowledge were unmeasurable. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for me. My deepest condolences to your family. ![]()
Iâm in shock⌠What?!
It was always such a joy to work with Beverly on various channels, discussing things about how to improve segging/NSSA and other things. You could always count on her when you needed help or wanted feedback on something.
Rest In Peace Beverly.
When I think of Beverly, I think of someone with a beautiful soul who was so very, very kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and such a joy to be around. She was an integral part to many of our journeys here at Viki. She was my sensei in the academy, my CS, and then my sensei again after inviting me to be a sensei in the academy. She will be remembered fondly and sorely missed. My heart goes out to those who held her dear. Rest in Paradise, BJW ![]()
First I would like to say my sorry for Beverlyâs familyâs loss
Iâm at a loss for words. When I first joined this program I had a head injury and still a TBI as hard as I tried I couldnât understand any of this. When Beverly became my sensei and I explained my situation ,she explained to me in ways others couldnât ,for she had knowledge of what a TBI was. She was my second chance because I had failed the first time and was coming back. I can never thank her enough for all of her patience kindness and making someone like me feel as though I could do what I thought was impossible Iâm going to miss every conversation we had not just about viki but about other things. All I can do is cry right now because she wasnât just my sensei , I considered her my friend. I know her light will continue to shine and an angel gained her wings. Thank You Bev for helping me learn something that I thought impossible where some thought it should be easy. Rest in Paradise Queen

âTomorrow, I shall continue to be. But you will have to be very attentive to see me. I will be a flower, or a leaf. I will be in those forms and I will send you a greeting. If you are attentive enough, you will recognize me, and you will be able to smile at me. I will be very happyâ

May you rest in Paradise.
I was so saddened to hear about Beverleyâs passing. Itâs hard to find the right words. She was such a warm, patient, and generous presence in our community, and so many of us learned from her and felt supported by her. Her kindness showed in everything she did â whether she was guiding new volunteers, offering encouragement, or quietly keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
I know many of us are still processing this loss. My heart goes out to her family, and to everyone here who worked with her and cared for her. She will be deeply missed, and her impact on the Ninja Academy and the Viki community will not be forgotten.
May she rest in peace.
