BIO: Ruby Lin is the stage name of Lin Hsin Ju, a popular Taiwanese actress, producer and singer. Born on January 27, 1976, she began her career with a TV commercial and then started acting in small roles in television dramas. She became an overnight sensation with the breakout role of Xia Zi Wei in the 1998 hit television drama “My Fair Princess.” She has since starred in many other hit dramas, including “The Duke of Mount Deer” (2000), “Romance in the Rain” (2001), “Flying Daggers” (2003) and “Affair of Half a Lifetime” (2004). Ruby Lin established her own management company, Ruby Lin Studio, in 2009 and has since produced and/or starred in many more popular dramas, such as “Beauty’s Rival in Palace” (2010), “Three Kingdoms” (2010), “The Glamorous Imperial Concubine” (2011) and “The Way We Were” (2014). Apple Daily ranked Ruby Lin as the highest-earning drama actress in 2012 and 2013.

FUN FACT: She set up her own drama production company in 2009 and had produced several dramas including the recent “The Way We Were.”
