Thanks for your response, @sweetybirdtoo. It’s good to have confirmation that K Pop singers usually do not use the autotune for their live performances and concerts.
Yes, I saw a few YT videos of the saesangs and they are truly scary. Some of them are truly mentally ill and need psychiatric care. One of the videos I saw interviewed the saesang and asked why she and the others were doing these things. Her response was they wanted to give the K Pop star a memory they would never forget and always remember. Even if the memory was a bad memory, it was okay because the K Pop star would always remember them and that particular moment.
Thanks for your concert tips. I will remember if I ever get the chance to go to a concert in future.
I have no words. Where does a thought process like that even come from? So frightening.
Thanks for sharing those videos, @vivi_1485 It’s nice to see examples of the K Pop groups “real voices.” EXO looks like they would be so fun to see live. I appreciate how they don’t try to be “perfect” and just sing from the heart to fans and just accept and help each other for when the occasional “mistake” happens. (Which isn’t often I’m sure.) I appreciate that in singers/musicians, because we should celebrate our humanity, not try to be robots. I’m glad to know that there are some variety shows that provide a concert experience and do not use autotune. I will have to check them out for sure.
Oh my! How awful! These saesang fans and “anti-fans” are too scary! I can’t believe that Yunho refused to press charges! I certainly would have if someone tried to ■■■■ me! Obviously, the person has issues, but they need to face the consequences of their actions. With no consequences, what’s to stop that person from poisoning again? I also think it sends the wrong message to these saesangs that these behaviors are OK. I really hope that the K pop stars and their agencies will prosecute the offenders in future and let everyone know that these behaviors are not acceptable and will be prosecuted.
Thank goodness Yunho survived the attack and has been able to deal with his trauma. Poor man!
I agree that it’s a let down when the artists and/or agencies end up granting mercy, even after they have insisted that they will seek punishment to the full extent of the law. Time and time again, recently, I’ve seen them give way just because the person apologized. If no one ever gets punished, there is no deterrent for anyone else. They’ll just believe that they’ll get away with it too, if they just apologize.
But especially, poisoning? That’s legitimately attempted murder. There should definitely be some consequences.
Yes, I agree that it is very frustrating to see the agencies not pursuing justice. I agree with you that when they “forgive” it sends the wrong message. The lack of any consequences helps to perpetuate the cycle of unwanted behaviors, as you pointed out. Taking full action It could make a huge difference. They will not know until they try. It makes me wonder why agencies are so reluctant to fully prosecute these offenders as I believe that the general public in South Korea agrees that these behaviors are wrong. I don’t think they would face negative feedback or problems if they did prosecute. (Maybe I misunderstood)
I agree with this assessment, although I guess I don’t really have any evidence to support or dispute it. Given how much artists apologize for things seemingly not worth apologizing for, out of fear of offending their fans, I suppose it’s possible agencies are worried about pushback.
Unfortunately if Yunho didn’t want to press charges his agency probably had no choice but to drop it! Even with the boys from 2pm who had people come into their room while they were in their “bday suits” the hotel just gave them champagne - How scary - There is also a video I saw a while back with Gong Yoo on the set of Goblin - He had NO security and he had his umbrella with him! The crowd RUSHED him and I could see how terrified he was - I am sure he was! How how can they let those things happen - I worry for them - I think they need to continue to keep security at its heightened best for these guys always! I would NEVER try to even approach them except in a fan meeting!
I’m sure Yunho had PTSD for a long while not trusting people like he said after that.

Wookie is Off - He popped by for a bit and needs to go rest up!
I believe so, yes.
I change my answer to a full ‘yes’ after you added the second GIF and I could see his face clearly.
He’s so CUTE and PRETTY at the same time!!!
That’s true. I’m reminded that I’ve never seen a ML change his hairstyle as much as he did in ‘Love Rain’. It was constantly different.
